JRANSA Original

International Survey on Technology Trends, such as Airspace World

As an original project of JRANSA, the independent research on international technological trends related to radio air navigation systems is conducted. Above mentioned, the international standardization trends are monitored by participating in ICAO, ITU and RTCA/EUROCAE conferences. However, to appropriately direct the future work, it is necessary to understand the background and correctly forecast the future trends. Therefore, by participating in such exhibitions and lectures as Air Space World hosted by CANSO (Civil Air Navigation Services Organization), it is important to monitor the latest technological trends for the implementation and the operation of radio air navigation systems. Furthermore, the information and human networks gained through such events have been utilized as starting points for many research projects. The research results are reported in the JRANSA's website as well as in the magazine "Aeronautical Radio".

Awareness-Raising Activities for Implementation Management of Radio Air Navigation Systems

Based on the JRANSA's long-standing experience in research and development of aeronautical satellite systems, ATC systems and radio air navigation systems as well as the experience in conceptual/basic design and implementation management, the technological manual called “Implementation management of radio air navigation systems” has been compiled and published. This technological manual has been used for internal knowledge sharing within the association and for the education of engineering staff engaged in these tasks.

This technological manual has been re-edited for the general public and titled "Introduction to Implementation Management" which is distributed to those who needs it. Furthermore, the supplementary editions of "Implementation Management" become available contributing to improve the safety and quality of service at each airport site.
